The Waiting Chair
A single chair stands in a sky of pale blue and peach clouds, its long shadow stretching away. Above it, an open window lets a sheer curtain float in the breeze. Nobody sits, nobody enters, and yet the scene is full of presence. Tender and melancholic, it speaks of waiting, longing and the spaces that hold someone's absence.
