Dawn Between Two Souls
Two faces meet across the canvas, one in deep sapphire, one in burning copper, and between them a small sun is born. Its light falls in a cone of yellow, green and blue over a gathering of glowing figures below. Gold leaf breaks through the top like lightning. Night and day, man and woman, cool and warm: the painting celebrates the light that appears when opposites finally face each other.
