Queen of the Crescent Moon

Queen of the Crescent Moon — original painting by Nourhan Salama

A dark-eyed queen sits in a sweeping robe of deep burgundy, its folds built from real fabric that catches the light like silk. Her crown is a sculpted nest of moss-green texture cradling a crescent moon, and long golden cords fall beside her face. Behind her, a midnight sky is scattered with silver dust. Regal, calm and mysterious, she rules the hour when the world is asleep.
