The Knight's Letter

On a worn wooden shelf, a closed antique box holds a dark chess knight on top. Beside it rest a sealed envelope with red wax, a violet flower, a golden pocket watch and scattered dark beads. Drawn in rich, layered strokes over an olive wall with fine cracks, the still life feels like a story waiting to be opened. Time, love, strategy and secrets, all in one quiet corner.
