See No, Hear No, Speak No (Triptych)
Three little girls in blue, green and red dresses each cover something: one her mouth, one her ears, one her eyes. Shown here framed in warm wood on a sunlit wall, the triptych reimagines the old proverb with innocence and charm. Soft, textured backgrounds and floral details in the hair give each panel a gentle, storybook quality. Playful, yet it quietly asks what we choose not to see.
Original · one of one · never reproduced. Oil and acrylic, by Egyptian artist Nourhan Salama.
