The Woman Within the Eye
2025
A single enormous eye fills the frame, framed by a heavy brow and swirling veils of copper, brown and cream. Reflected inside its iris is the calm face of a woman with red lips, looking straight back at us. Expressive, chalky strokes give the surface a raw, energetic texture. It is a portrait of how we carry those we love: always inside our gaze.
