Spirit of the Ram

An intimate, close study of a ram: a single luminous eye and the deep coil of a horn, its curve traced in gold leaf. The surface is heavily textured, like sandstone weathered by desert wind, with smoky black pigment pooling into the grain. The ram was the sacred animal of Amun and Khnum, symbols of creation and strength. A painting you want to touch as much as see.
